Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Frankfort, Kentucky. The assignment runs for 13 weeks with a 36-hour work week and 12-hour evening shifts.

The role requires an active RN license, a degree from an accredited nursing program, and 18 months of recent Acute Care ER experience. BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC may be required by some facilities, with other client-specific requirements.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required in some positions.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.

Responsibilities

• Assess, intervene and stabilize trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Knowledgeable about general and specific health issues in acute care.
• Understand triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Make quick and accurate assessments about incoming patients, including physical and mental health.
