Requires state RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS with at least 1 year ED experience. Compensation is competitive, with pay per shift ranging from $56 to $64 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• PALS certification required on hire.
• Minimum 1 year ED/acute care nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees ED operations and nursing staff during assigned shifts; ensures safe, high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance.
• Manages staffing, scheduling, and patient assignments.
• Supervises, coaches, and supports staff development.
• Assists with performance management and HR-related activities.
• Monitors supplies, equipment, and unit readiness; coordinates patient flow, admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Addresses patient care concerns and escalates issues as needed.
• Rounds with patients and families to support a positive experience.
• Provides direct patient care when needed to maintain safe staffing levels.
