Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Texas, requiring a TX or compact RN license and at least 2 years of ER experience. Certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC are required, with Epic EMR experience also necessary.

Travel-friendly and open to those within 90 miles with a lower rate, the job offers housing allowance and travel/licensure reimbursements. The role operates in a Combined Adult/Pediatric ED with 1:4 patient ratio, night shifts

Qualifications

• Active TX or compact RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience required.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC.
• Epic EMR experience required.

Responsibilities

• Care for adult and pediatric ED patients in a combined setting.
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:4 and manage triage priorities.
• Provide trauma, psychiatric, respiratory and neurological care.
• Work night shifts 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, weekends/holidays required.
• Document in Epic and coordinate with STEMI/Stroke certified team.
