Job summary

Healthforce Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for an ER travel assignment in Winnebago, NE. Start date 09/27/2026 for 13 weeks, with guaranteed 36 hours per week and nights shift in a busy emergency department setting.

The role requires active US RN licensure, a CCNE-accredited nursing program, and ER experience. Excellent English communication, strong teamwork, and ability to handle high-acuity patients are essential. Travel support provided.

Qualifications

Active, unrestricted RN license in the United States.
BSN or higher preferred; CCNE-accredited nursing program.
ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP, and CPR certifications required or willing to obtain.
Minimum 2 years ER nursing experience (1 year preferred).
Fluent English reading/writing/speaking; strong communication skills.
Ability to lift 20–50 lbs and operate clinical equipment.

Responsibilities

Assess ER patients and triage based on history and chief complaint.
Provide comprehensive care for acutely/critically ill patients.
Administer prescribed therapies, including medications, IV fluids, and blood products; monitor treatments.
Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot specialized medical equipment.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals for timely care.
Document care accurately; maintain HIPAA compliance.
