Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Hebron, Nebraska. The ER setting requires night shifts (5:00 PM–5:00 AM) with weekend/holiday rotation. Start date is September 21, 2026, with housing options limited; on-call rooms available upon request.

The role emphasizes direct ED care, collaboration with the care team, and adherence to HIPAA and documentation standards. Licensed Nebraska RN with applicable certifications is required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Nebraska (current, valid).
• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• Certifications: CPR, ACLS, TNCC, NRP, STABLE.
• ER/acute care experience; strong communication skills.
• Willingness to night shift; 13-week assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in the ED with ongoing assessment, monitoring and documentation.
• Administer medications (oral, subcutaneous, IM, IV) with barcode scanning and monitor IV sites.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and staff in planning and evaluating patient care.
• Manage obstetrical care when competent; observe labor, delivery, postpartum and newborn care as applicable.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure HIPAA-compliant documentation.
• Participate in QA, training and orientation for new staff.
