Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Emergency Room travel nurse for an 8-week assignment in Somerset, PA. The ER RN will evaluate, triage and treat patients in a fast-paced environment, working 12-hour rotating shifts for a total of 36 hours per week.

Requirements include ACLS, BLS, PALS and 1–2 years of acute care experience. Travel compensation includes weekly pay and benefits with tax-free stipends; housing may be provided in some assignments.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, PALS required; 2 years of acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triage and assess emergency patients.
• Provide care under physician instructions and ensure patient safety.
• Document medical history, vital signs, and care plans.
• Maintain supplies and monitor equipment in a fast-paced ER setting.
