Job summary

TotalMed RN in Somerset, Kentucky is seeking an Emergency Department travel nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment. The role requires 1-2 years of acute care experience, 36 hours per week with 12-hour evening shifts.

As an ER Travel Nurse, you will triage and treat patients in a fast-paced environment, document histories and vital signs, and collaborate with a diverse care team. ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications are required or pursued before starting.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications required.
• Minimum 1.5 years recent acute care experience.
• Additional certifications may be required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, triage and implement care per physician instructions.
• Care for patients in fast-paced emergency environment.
• Document medical history and vital signs.
• Monitor patients' emotional and physical well-being.
• Provide basic bedside care, wound care, IV therapy.
