Job summary

HCA Florida West Hospital is seeking a dynamic RN for ER Float to provide high-quality care across three free‑standing ERs and the main ER. The role demands quick thinking, decisive action, and the ability to adapt to varying patient needs in a fast-paced environment.

Must have two years of ER experience, a Florida or compact RN license, and BLS. ACLS/PALS certifications should be obtained within 90 days. Willingness to travel between facilities is required.

Qualifications

• Must have at least two years ER experience.
• Willing to travel between 3 Free Standing ERs and the Main ER.
• Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required.
• BLS-AHA Provider card required within 30 days of start.
• ACLS and/or PALS certification required within 90 days of start.

Responsibilities

• Triage, assess and treat patients of all ages.
• Identify outcomes and develop plans to achieve them.
• Coordinate with physicians and hospital departments while prioritizing patient safety.
• Manage multiple cases concurrently and provide follow-up instructions.
