HCA Florida Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced ER Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Atlantic/Kernan Freestanding Emergency Room. You will triage, assess and treat patients of all ages in a fast-paced emergency setting, delivering timely, compassionate care from triage to discharge and supporting emergency and life-threatening conditions.

You will work 12-hour shifts, document changes in condition, administer medications, coordinate ambulance traffic, and educate patients and families

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing (Associate's Degree or higher).
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the practicing state or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
• Current BLS (AHA/Red Cross) required; ACLS and PALS preferred and to be obtained within 30 days of hire/transfer.

Responsabilités

• Document nursing notes reflecting change in condition, transfer, and discharge.
• Administer medications per physician orders.
• Answer and triage incoming calls as needed.
• Manage care across all ER zones (triage, rapid treatment, carepath, pediatric ER, trauma, behavioral health).
• Coordinate and triage ambulance traffic.
• Collaborate with the ED attending for patient care.
• Utilize the Emergency Severity Index 5-level triage algorithm.
• Respond to critical needs and serve as a resource for trauma.
• Educate patients and families about medications, procedures, and treatments.
