Travel EP Lab Tech

Travel EP Lab Tech

Role & Responsibilities: Assist in electrophysiology procedures such as cardiac ablations, pacemaker and defibrillator implantations, and cardiac mapping. Prepare patients, operate and troubleshoot lab equipment, monitor patient responses, and support a safe, efficient environment. Perform assessments, educate patients, administer medications, and provide post-procedure care. Collaborate with the care team to develop treatment plans, adhere to safety protocols, and respond to patient condition changes.

Qualifications & Skills: Requires at least one year of recent EP Lab Tech experience, current BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCES/RCIS certifications. Preferred licenses include radiologic technologist credentials and additional certifications like PALS or ENPC. Must possess critical thinking, excellent communication, physical stamina, technical skills, and ability to work under pressure. Visual acuity and interpersonal skills are essential.

Key Duties: Conduct assessments, assist physicians, monitor cardiac rhythms, ensure sterile procedures, and support patient recovery. Maintain compliance with safety and infection control standards. Strong teamwork and adaptability are vital.
