Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro seeks an Travel EP Lab Tech to assist in electrophysiology studies, cardiac ablations, pacemaker and defibrillator implantations, and other specialized procedures within the EP lab.

You will be responsible for patient preparation, operating equipment, monitoring responses, and supporting cardiac interventions, while maintaining sterile environments and adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent EP Lab Tech experience
• Current BLS, ACLS certifications; ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification
• Critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to move and assist with equipment
• Ability to follow instructions, work under pressure, and maintain focus

Responsibilities

• Assist in electrophysiology studies and related procedures in the EP lab.
• Prepare patients and document findings; educate patients and families on procedures and post-care

Job description

Travel EP Lab Tech

Assist in electrophysiology studies, cardiac ablations, pacemaker and defibrillator implantations, and other specialized procedures within the EP lab. Responsible for patient preparation, operating equipment, monitoring responses, and supporting cardiac interventions.

Key Duties

• Perform nursing assessments and document findings
• Educate patients and families on procedures and post-care
• Assist physicians during procedures, administer medications, and monitor patient responses
• Maintain sterile environments, prepare and troubleshoot equipment
• Provide post-procedure care, monitor for complications, and ensure patient stability
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards

Qualifications & Skills

• One year’s recent EP Lab Tech experience
• Current BLS, ACLS certifications; ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification
• Critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to move and assist with equipment
• Ability to follow instructions, work under pressure, and maintain focus

Preferred Qualifications

• Radiologic Technologist license, PALS or ENPC certifications
