Coastal Elite Pro in Billings, MT is seeking a Travel EP Lab Tech to assist in EP studies, ablations, and device implantations.
The role includes patient preparation, monitoring, post-procedure care, and collaboration with the care team to develop safe treatment plans. Requires current BLS/ACLS and ARRT/RCES/RCIS certification with at least one year of EP lab experience.
Assist in electrophysiology studies, cardiac ablations, and device implantations within the EP lab. Prepare patients, operate and troubleshoot lab equipment, monitor responses, and support cardiac mapping and interventions. Perform patient assessments, educate patients and families, administer medications, and provide post-procedure care. Collaborate with the care team to develop treatment plans, adhere to safety protocols, and ensure a safe working environment.
Requires at least one year of recent EP Lab Tech experience, current BLS, ACLS, and ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certifications. Preferred licenses include radiologic technologist credentials and PALS or ENPC. Must possess critical thinking, excellent communication, physical stamina, technical skills, and the ability to work under pressure. Visual acuity, manual dexterity, and interpersonal skills are essential.
Conduct assessments, assist physicians during procedures, monitor patient vitals, respond to changes, maintain sterile techniques, and support safe and efficient procedures. Provide patient education and post-procedure monitoring to ensure stability and safety.
