Job summary

Junxion Med Staffing seeks an EP lab RN for a travel assignment in Springfield, Missouri. The role involves scrubbing EP cases, including devices and ablations, and supporting interventional radiology procedures in a busy EP lab.

The 13-week assignment starts ASAP with 40 hours per week on day shifts. Candidates must have at least 1 year of EP lab experience and a Missouri RN license. Travel staffing provided with live U.S.-based recruiter support.

Qualifications

• 1 year of EP lab experience.
• Experience scrubbing electrophysiology cases, including devices and ablations.
• Capable of operating angiography equipment and processing digital images.
• Excellent communication and ability to work under stress.

Responsibilities

• Works closely with Radiology staff, OR staff, Surgeons and Interventional Radiologists to perform interventional procedures.
• Assist with pre- and post-procedure patient care.
• Responsible for cleaning equipment and supplies involved in Special Procedures.
• Perform routine department duties as needed.

Required Experience and Skills

• - 1 year of EP lab experience
• - Experience scrubbing Electrophysiology cases, including devices and ablations
• - Capable of manipulating Angiography equipment, selecting and manipulating exposure factors on digital angiographic systems, evaluating and processing digital images, lifting, moving, and transporting patients, continual standing and walking, recognizing emergency situations, adapting to stressful situations, and communicating effectively
• - Proficient in the use of Digital Angiography Equipment, Interventional equipment, PACS, and Computers

Leadership Experience

• - Responsible for the instruction and training of students and other technologists in Special Procedures

Clinical Experience

• - Works closely and efficiently with other Radiology staff, OR staff, Surgeons, and Interventional Radiologists in performing a wide range of Interventional procedures
• - Assist with pre and post procedure patient care if needed

Certifications

• - Required: BLS from AHA only
• - Preferred: ACLS from AHA only

• - Current RN License (Meets the criteria to be eligible for licensure in state of Missouri or currently licensed in the state of Missouri)
