Job summary

RampRamp seeks a Travel Engineering Lead to grow the company’s travel platform. You will mentor a small team and own delivery across search, inventory, quoting, checkout, policy evaluation, loyalty, and post-booking services for enterprise customers.

You’ll manage complex third-party integrations (APIs, GDS/NDC, TMC/OBT), partner with Product, Design, Ops, Partnerships, and Sales, and set scalable engineering practices including AI-assisted features.

Qualifications

• 2+ years managing engineers, teams of 5–15.
• Strong ownership with ability to drive ambiguous problems.
• Experience building and scaling from 0 to 1.
• Willing to be hands-on; team of six engineers expects builder mindset.
• Able to lead design reviews and evaluate architecture proposals.
• Strong product judgment and customer-facing communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Travel engineering team (about 6 engineers).
• Own delivery across travel surfaces: search, inventory, quoting, checkout, policy evaluation, loyalty, post-booking services.
• Ensure reliability with third-party integrations (APIs, GDS, TMC, OBT).
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Ops, Partnerships, and Sales on enterprise travel commitments.
• Define practices for AI-assisted development and ship agentic booking features.
• Hire and scale the team.
