Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Endoscopy for a travel nursing job in Houston, Texas. The position offers a 13-week assignment with 40 hours per week, days shift, and travel employment.

The RN will hold an active nursing license, have a degree from an accredited nursing program, and hold BLS and ACLS certifications, with eighteen months of recent acute care Endoscopy experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Endoscopy setting.

Responsibilities

• Performs assessment/data collection focusing on physiologic and cognitive needs.
• Provides technical assistance during Endoscopic procedures and ensures safe practice.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and a friendly environment for patients and families.
• Stores, checks and administers medication per standards.
• Maintains timely and accurate nursing records.
