Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Endoscopy RN for a 13-week assignment in Tomball, Texas. The nurse will work 40 hours per week in a days shift, focusing on endoscopy procedures in an acute care setting.

Required are an active RN license, degree from an accredited nursing program, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 18 months of recent Endoscopy experience. Travel benefits include housing options and comprehensive credentialing support.

Eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care endoscopy setting.

Responsibilities

Performs assessment/data collection focusing on physiologic, psychobiologic and cognitive needs of patient/family.
Provides technical assistance during diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, ensuring safe practice.
Maintains patient privacy and a friendly environment at all times.
Manages medication storage, checks doses and administers meds per standards.
Maintains timely and accurate nursing records and confidentiality.
Works with minimal supervision during endoscopic procedures, admissions and recovery.
