Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel Endoscopy RN for a 13-week assignment in Dallas, Texas. The role offers 40 hours per week on 10-hour day shifts in a travel setting. Active RN license, BLS/ACLS, and 18 months Endoscopy experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• At least 18 months of recent acute care endoscopy experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs assessments focusing on physiologic, psychobiologic and cognitive needs of the patient and family.
• Provides technical assistance during endoscopic procedures, ensuring safe practice.
• Maintains patient privacy and a friendly environment at all times.
• Stores, checks and administers medications per standards.
• Maintains timely nursing records and ensures confidentiality.
• Works with minimal supervision during endoscopic procedures, admission and recovery.
