Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing in Wheeling, West Virginia seeks an Endoscopy RN for a 13-week travel assignment, 40 hours per week, with a flexible 10-hour shift.

The RN must hold an active license, nursing degree from an accredited program, BLS and ACLS certifications, and at least 18 months of recent acute care Endoscopy experience. Housing options, health benefits, and travel reimbursement are provided.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.

• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Eighteen months of recent Acute Care Endoscopy experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs assessment/data collection focusing on physiologic and cognitive needs.
• Provides technical assistance during Endoscopic procedures with safe practices.
• Maintains patient contact, ensuring courtesy, dignity and privacy.
• Stores, checks and administers medication per standards.
• Maintains nursing records with confidentiality.
• Works with minimal supervision during procedures, admission and recovery.
