Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Endoscopy for a travel nursing job in Wheeling, West Virginia. The Endoscopy RN will function primarily as an intra-operative circulation nurse, assisting in endoscopic procedures and maintaining patient safety throughout cases.

This 13-week contract offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour rotating shifts. BLS certification and endoscopy experience are required, with Epic knowledge a plus; on-call duties and varied shifts apply.

Qualifications

• BLS Certification required.
• Experience in endoscopy procedures required.
• Knowledge of Epic electronic health record system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in endoscopic procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, EMR, and hemorrhoid banding.
• Maintain thorough patient records and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal care.
• Manage patient flow and support surgical tech staff in the GI lab.
• Participate in on-call duties, typically one weekend per month and additional holidays as scheduled.
