Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Endoscopy travel nurse (RN) for an assignment in Alexandria, Virginia. This role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience and certification in ACLS and BLS. You will join a team supporting endoscopy procedures with emphasis on patient safety and quality care.

The assignment lasts 11 weeks, with 40 hours per week on day shifts (10-hour shifts). Start date is 10/12/2026, with travel pay and a comprehensive benefits package offered by TotalMed RN.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years recent acute care experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Endoscopy experience with understanding of sedation and pharmacodynamics.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high standard of nursing care in Endoscopy Unit per policies.
• Provide technical assistance during diagnostic and therapeutic Endoscopic procedures.
• Maintain endoscopes and equipment with proper decontamination and traceability records.
• Maintain a safe, clean clinical environment per standards.
