Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Endoscopy for a travel nursing job in Midlothian, Virginia. This Endoscopy RN will support the physicians and medical team in the Endoscopy unit before, during and after procedures.

Travel RN should have 1–2 years of acute care experience and knowledge of endoscopy, physiology, and pharmacodynamics of conscious sedation. The role requires 10-hour days, 50 hours per week with a tax-free stipend and immediate opening in Midlothian, VA.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years acute care experience required.
• Experience in endoscopy procedures a plus.
• Knowledge of conscious sedation pharmacology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in Endoscopy unit before, during, and after procedures.
• Assist physicians and team with diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures.
• Maintain endoscopes and equipment with proper decontamination and traceability.
