Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Endoscopy travel nurse to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. The role requires 1–2 years of acute care as an Endoscopy RN, with 10-hour days and a 40-hour workweek for a 13-week assignment.

Candidates should have ACLS and BLS certifications and be prepared to support physicians and the medical team before, during, and after procedures. The position emphasizes high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Endoscopy unit, with responsibilities including instrument

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Endoscopy experience preferred and relevant knowledge of endoscopy procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Endoscopy unit, following policies and procedures.
• Provide technical assistance during diagnostic and therapeutic Endoscopic procedures.
• Assist in decontamination and maintenance of endoscopes and equipment with proper traceability.
• Maintain a safe, clean clinical environment in accordance with regulations.
