Job summary

Cerebrocare is seeking an EMG Technician to perform electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction velocity (NCV) tests under physician supervision. This role involves travel between the Houston area locations, delivering high-quality diagnostic testing while prioritizing patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, assisting physicians, proper electrode placement, and ensuring signal quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
• 1–2 years EMG/NCV experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel between clinic locations.
• Valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform EMG and NCV studies under neurologist supervision.
• Prepare patients and explain procedures clearly and compassionately.
• Assist physicians during EMG procedures.
• Ensure proper electrode placement and signal quality.
• Maintain and calibrate EMG equipment.
• Document procedures and findings in the EHR.
• Maintain HIPAA, OSHA, and clinic protocol compliance.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
