Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group seeks an experienced Neurophysiology (EMG) Technologist II to perform highly complex nerve conduction recordings and monitor neurophysiological phenomena using established techniques. The role includes advanced documentation, reporting, and development of clinical findings within a patient-centered environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent; graduate of electro-neurodiagnostic technology program.
• Three years in a clinic/hospital setting performing electrodiagnostic procedures.
• BLS certification and CNCT or RNCST credential.

Responsabilidades

• Explain test procedures to patients and answer questions to ensure accurate results.
• Interface with physicians and staff to evaluate/modify testing as needed.
• Train and mentor less experienced technologists as appropriate.
• Ensure accurate testing procedures by planning and organizing materials and supplies.
• Calibrate EMG equipment and maintain related instruments.
• Contribute to department quality and safety targets.
