Job summary

Cleveland Clinic's Main Campus is seeking a caregiver to perform nerve conduction studies, place surface electrodes, and record nerve and muscle responses to support accurate diagnosis. The role includes occasional travel to various Ohio sites with mileage reimbursement, primarily at Main Campus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or an associate’s degree in END or two years of college with anatomy & physiology.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• Must obtain Registered Nerve Conduction Study Tech certification within two years of hire.
• Working knowledge of peripheral neuropathy and neurophysiology.
• Knowledge of physiology and anatomy to locate nerves and interpret EMG results.

Responsibilities

• Perform nerve conduction studies for patients.
• Educate patients on EMG examinations.
• Maintain order within the laboratory and assist with procedures.
• Operate EMG instrumentation and ensure accurate recordings.
• Assist with research studies and sample handling.
• Transmit EMG reports to physicians and manage lab paperwork.
