Ironsmith Fire, LLC is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to advance our safety-first culture across job sites. The role focuses on learning safety management, supporting workers’ compensation processes, maintaining OSHA records, and partnering with field teams and clients to promote a safe work environment.

The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, eager to grow, and capable of coordinating safety meetings, site inspections, and training while traveling to branch

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Safety Management, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, or related field.
• 1–2 years in a similar role, preferably in construction.
• Knowledge of OSHA compliance and handling workers’ compensation claims.
• Experience developing and maintaining physician panels preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support workers’ compensation claims processing; learn effective handling per legal standards.
• Maintain safety records and OSHA logs across sites.
• Coordinate monthly safety meetings, inspections, and trainings.
• Assist with safety training, equipment checks, and site inspections.
• Travel to branch offices or remote job sites as required.
