Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an EEG Technologist for our Neurology department. The role requires EEG experience in hospital inpatient and outpatient settings, a current BLS certification, and Epic EMR proficiency. New grads are not considered.

The position offers a day shift (7:00 AM–3:00 PM), a 40-hour week, on-call duties, and occasional holiday rotations. Local candidates receive identical pay rates as travelers, with housing and travel reimbursements common.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of direct patient care experience in EEG.
• High School Diploma required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• R. EEG T. ABRET certification preferred.
• License required if applicable.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• New graduates will not be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform inpatient and outpatient EEG studies in the Neurology department.
• Work on day shift: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, 40 hours per week.
• Participate in on-call rotation outside normal hours (avg 8 days/month).
• Rotate holidays as needed (approx. 1–2 annually).
• No floating required.
• Orientation period includes 4 non-billable hours on first shift.
• Local candidates considered at same rate.
• Returning staff must be away 12 months before returning as traveler.
• RTO limited to 7 days for 13-week contracts.
