American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an EEG Technologist for hospital-based neurodiagnostic studies, including routine EEGs, VEEG, and intraoperative mapping. This night shift position runs 12-hour shifts, three days per week, with a 36-hour weekly schedule.

Applicants should have at least one year of hospital EEG experience, BLS certification, and licensure as applicable. Knowledge of safety standards and electrode placement is required; RN or Nuclear Medicine staff assistance is available for

• Proficiency with 10-20 electrode placement system
• Knowledge of electrical safety and infection control standards
• Ability to evaluate patients during clinical events and notify physicians

Mansioni

• Hospital-based EEG department
• Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, 36 hours weekly
• Performs routine, prolonged, and long-term continuous EEGs for inpatients and outpatients
• Conducts VEEG inpatient event monitoring and EMU patient monitoring
• Performs ictal SPECT monitoring, intracarotid EEG recording, and intra-operative EEG brain mapping
• Conducts evoked potentials and SSEP studies
• Monitors patients to prevent injury during clinical events or falls
• Assists RN or Nuclear Medicine Technologist during ictal SPECT procedures
• Performs EEGs in Interventional Radiology lab during WADA procedures
• Provides patient education related to neurodiagnostic procedures
• Maintains compliance with ASET minimum standards
• Non-billable orientation required

• License required if applicable
• Minimum of one year experience in a hospital setting
• Proficiency with 10-20 electrode placement system
• Knowledge of electrical safety and infection control standards
• Ability to evaluate patients during clinical events and notify physicians/nurses as needed
