Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Neurodiagnostic/EEG Technologist with 2+ years of experience to provide inpatient and outpatient EEG services for adult and neonatal populations. The role requires BLS, EPIC experience, electrode placement skills, and potential EMG support.

Responsibilities include rotating between inpatient and outpatient settings with day/evening shifts, on-call weeknights and weekends, in a tobacco- and fragrance-free facility. Local candidates within 50 miles may be considered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Neurodiagnostic/EEG Technologist
• BLS required
• R.EEGT and/or ABRET preferred
• License required if applicable
• EPIC experience required
• Experience with electrode placement
• Ability to check, operate, and calibrate electromyographic equipment per standard procedure
• Comfortable caring for adult and neonatal patient populations

Responsibilities

• Rotating assignment between inpatient and outpatient settings, with less than 10 minute commute between locations
• Outpatient hours are Monday-Friday 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
• Inpatient hours vary between 1st shift 7:00 AM-3:30 PM and 2nd shift 9:30 AM-6:00 PM
• 5x8 hour day shifts
• Weekend coverage limited to on-call only
• Call requirements include approximately 4-5 weeknights on call per month and weekend call coverage every 6th-7th weekend from Friday 4:30 PM to Sunday 7:00 AM
• Holiday coverage on a rotation basis
• Works in adult ICU, adult inpatient, adult outpatient, and NICU settings
• Performs ambulatory EEG, portable recording, seizure studies, sleep deprived EEG, and sleep EEG
• May assist with EMG/nerve conduction studies
• May involve care of COVID-positive patients
• Facility is tobacco and fragrance free
• Candidates are subject to a clinical pre-screen prior to manager interview
• RTO limited to a maximum of 7 days
• Local candidates within 50 miles may be considered
