American Traveler is recruiting an EEG Technologist for a short-term acute care hospital. First-time travelers are welcome; 1 year of experience is required and Epic EMR proficiency is expected.

Responsibilities

• Short term acute care hospital setting with 418 staffed beds.
• EEG Tech unit with 1:1 ratios.
• 5x8 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
• Weekend rotation Wed-Sat 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
• Rotating weekday and weekend on-call, typically 2-4 weekdays per month.
• Occasional coverage of weekend day shifts when staff are on PTO.
• Block schedules required.
• Will float between facilities, commuting about 11 miles.
• Uses Epic EMR.

American Traveler is hiring an EEG Technologist for a short-term acute care hospital, open to first-time travelers, requiring 1 year of experience and offering day shift hours.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience required
• ABRET certification preferred but not required
• License required if applicable
• Epic EMR experience required

Responsibilities

• Short term acute care hospital setting with 418 staffed beds
• EEG Tech unit with 1:1 ratios
• 5x8 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• Weekend rotation includes a Wed-Sat schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Rotating weekday and weekend on-call required, typically 2-4 weekdays per month and 1 weekend every six weeks
• Occasional coverage of weekend day shifts when other staff are on PTO
• Block schedules required
• Will float between facilities, commuting approximately 11 miles
• Uses Epic EMR
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not live within 50 miles of the facility
• All travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state
• Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment
• Minimal to no RTO accommodated
• No fee for parking
