Job summary
Trinity Health FirstChoice is seeking a travel nurse RN Float ED - Emergency Department Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Newton, Iowa.
Location: MercyOne Newton Medical Center, IA. Start ASAP. Duration: 13 weeks. 36 hours weekly, 3x12 shifts, Night shifts. Gross weekly rate: $2,664, with tax-free stipends to be determined. Travel employment with FirstChoice staffing across the Trinity Health system.
Qualifications
- RN licensed in the applicable state(s) of practice/employment.
- Minimum 18 months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele and PCU.
- Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience for ED, Critical Care, Surgical, Maternal and Behavioral Health.
- Credentials required per specialty area (ACLS, TNCC, etc). BLS, ACLS and PALS must be obtained via American Heart Association.
Responsibilities
- Float throughout the hospital and/or multiple locations/regions as needed.
- Apply professional practice: Assess, identify outcomes, plan, implement and evaluate.
- Operate independently within licensed scope and location.
- Ensure accountability for delegation, decisions and outcomes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve quality and outcomes.
- Be agile, take on new responsibilities and adapt to changes.
- Embrace new ideas and manage competing priorities.
