Job summary

Trinity Health FirstChoice is seeking a Travel RN, Float ED for Night shifts in West Des Moines, IA. This 13-week travel assignment offers 36 hours weekly across ED/Med Surg settings with premium pay and flexible scheduling through FirstChoice staffing solutions.

Start ASAP with hospital-wide float coverage; nationwide and regional travel opportunities. RN licensure, strong emergency department experience, and BLS/ACLS/PALS credentials required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure for applicable states.
• 18+ months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele, PCU.
• 2+ years of recent clinical experience for ED and other specialties.
• Credentials per specialty (ACLS, TNCC, etc); BLS/ACLS/PALS per American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Float throughout the hospital and/or multiple locations/regions.
• Apply evidence-based nursing process: Assess, Identify outcomes, Plan, Implement, Evaluate.
• Work independently within licensure and scope of practice.
• Maintain accountability for delegation and outcomes; ensure quality and improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance patient care and adaptability.
