Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ED for a 13-week assignment in Commerce Township, Michigan. The role involves patient assessment, care planning, and collaboration with ED staff to deliver timely treatment in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate has ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIH certifications and at least 2 years of acute care experience; flexible shifts include 12-hour days with a 36-hour week. Travel experience preferred; benefits start on day one.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH, TNCC, CPI certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Travel nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor medical operations as needed in ED.
• Advise patients and families on illnesses or injuries.
• Plan and coordinate long-term care needs.
• Document medical history and vital signs.
• Monitor emotional and physical well-being of patients.
• Provide basic bedside care and wound care.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
