Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Commerce Township, Michigan. The ER RN will evaluate, triage and treat patients in a fast-paced setting, performing IV therapy, wound care and essential bedside tasks.

Requirements include 1-2 years of acute care ER experience and certifications such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH, TNCC and CPI. Travel role with 12-hour day shifts and a 36-hour work week, with benefits and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of acute care ER experience.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS and related certifications required.
• NIH, TNCC, CPI credentials may be required before assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside ER care and monitor patients.
• Evaluate, triage and implement care following physician instructions.
• Administer IV therapy and manage wounds and supplies.
• Maintain equipment and document patient information accurately.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
