Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Emergency Department travel nurse (RN) for a Midland, Michigan assignment. The role requires 1-2 years of acute care experience, ACLS and BLS certifications, and involves 13-week duration with 36 hours per week on a 12-hour evening shift.

As an ER Travel Nurse, you will evaluate, triage and implement care per physician orders in a fast-paced setting, document history and vitals, and support patients and families with care planning.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience preferred.
• Additional certifications may be required before starting an assignment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, triage and implement care according to physician instructions.
• Care for patients in a fast-paced, urgent and emergency environment.
• Document medical history and vital signs; monitor patients' emotional and physical well-being.
• Perform bedside care, wound care, IV therapy and maintain equipment.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
