Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing seeks a travel nurse RN in ED for a Mount Clemens, Michigan assignment. It is a 13-week travel position with 36 hours per week and 12-hour night shifts.

Active RN license and an accredited nursing degree are required, with 18 months of recent ED acute-care experience. BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC may be required, and client facilities determine additional requirements.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the required state
• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required in some positions
• Eighteen months of recent acute care ER experience
• Other client facility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess, intervene and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Understand triage and prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients' physical and mental health.
• Provide emergency care in the ED and coordinate with the healthcare team.
