Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Sonographer to perform adult echocardiography studies in a premier cardiac center. The role requires inpatient echo experience and prior TAVR pre-treatment scanning of critical aortic stenosis patients.

AM shift, 9.5 hours per day, 4 days weekly, 38 hours. Uses Philips IE33 and Epiq; Epic EMR for charting. Local candidates welcome at different rates.

Qualifications

• Inpatient echocardiography experience is required.
• Experience with valvular assessment and Doppler techniques is essential.
• Prior TAVR pre-treatment imaging experience preferred.
• Ability to perform high-quality adult echo studies per ASE/IAC guidelines.
• Certification in cardiac ultrasound and ARDMS/CCI registration required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality adult echocardiography studies in a premiere cardiac center.
• Operate Philips ie33/Epiq systems and document results in Epic EMR.
• Prepare patients, monitor during exams, and review prior studies.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and ensure complete studies before reporting.
• May float to sister hospital as needed.
