Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer for an Echocardiology unit. The role requires 5+ years of experience and proficiency in TEE, TTE, and Stress echo, with RDCS/CCI certification and MA licensure.

Responsibilities include performing M‑Mode, 2‑D, Doppler and stress testing on Philips ultrasound equipment, using Epic EMR for reporting. This is a 13‑week assignment on a day shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as Cardiac Sonographer.
• Proficiency in TEE, TTE and Stress echo.
• Associate's degree in radiology or equivalent.
• RDCS or CCI certification required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Active MA license at time of consideration.

Responsibilities

• Operate echocardiography equipment in the department.
• Perform M-Mode, 2-D, color Doppler and stress exams.
• Use Lumason for bubble studies and report results.
• Document in Epic EMR and follow policies.
• Shift: Day, 07:00–15:30; 13‑week assignment.
• Work with Philips ultrasound systems and radiology staff.

• Proficiency in TEE, TTE, and Stress echo required
• Associate's degree in radiology or equivalent certification required
• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or CCI required
• Current BLS certification required (AHA preferred)
• Active MA license required at time of consideration; no pending or conditional licenses accepted
• License required if applicable
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• IV insertion skills preferred

Responsibilities

• Echocardiology department setting
• Day shift, 07:00-15:30
• 13-week assignment
• Uses Philips ultrasound equipment
• Performs M-Mode, 2-D, color, Doppler, exercise testing, and TEE
• Uses Lumason imaging agent for bubble studies
• Epic charting system used
• Operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment and scan patients across all aspects of cardiac imaging
• Reports to the Supervisor Cardiac Sonographer
• Operates within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures
• Flu vaccine required during flu season with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
• Local candidates accepted if residing within 60 miles of the facility, at a reduced rate
