American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an Echo/Vascular Tech with 1+ years of experience in adult transthoracic echocardiography for an inpatient vascular lab setting in Murray, Utah.

The role requires ARDMS/CCI certification, BLS, and a license where applicable, with a 3x12hr day shift schedule and travel assignment details. The candidate will perform adult transthoracic echocardiography, including contrast and bubble studies, prioritize and schedule exams, and document results while coordinating

Qualifications

• 1+ years of echo or vascular sonography experience.
• HS diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• ARDMS or CCI certification required
• BLS certification required
• Completion of one vascular or echo registry relevant to department
• Active and unrestricted license if applicable
• AHA certifications must not expire before start date

Responsibilities

• Vascular Lab department focused on inpatient care.
• Work 3x12hr day shifts with variable scheduling including weekdays and weekends.
• Use Epic for charting.
• Perform adult transthoracic echocardiography including contrast and bubble studies.
• Transesophageal echocardiogram and pediatric experience is a plus.
• Prioritize and schedule exams, coordinate with medical staff, physicians, and patients.
• Prepare patients for exams including verification, education, and transport.
• Perform ultrasound exams per protocol, ensuring safety, comfort, and quality.
• Document results and bill for exams and supplies.
• Maintain equipment and work area; coordinate repairs or supplies as needed.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and ongoing education.
• Provide training and mentorship to staff, fellows, and students as needed.
• Permanent staff must be separated from the facility within health system for at least one year before travel eligibility

• ARDMS certification (OB, abdominal, neuro, breast, or vascular) or CCI certification (RCIS or RCES) required
• BLS certification required
• Successful completion of one vascular or echo registry (adult, pediatric, or fetal) pertinent to the department
• License required if applicable
• Active and unrestricted license required at time of consideration
• AHA certifications must not expire prior to start date

• Perform ultrasound exams per protocol, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and quality outcomes
• Document exam results and accurately charge for exams and supplies
• Clean and maintain equipment and work area, coordinating repairs or supply needs as needed
• Support team quality improvement initiatives and participate in ongoing education
• Provide training and mentorship to staff, fellows, and students as needed
• Permanent staff must be separated from any facility within the health system for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
