Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist with 5+ years of vascular sonography experience and active RVT/ARDMS certification. The role covers adult, ER, ICU, and portable exams with OR carotid endarterectomy assistance.

Must have travel experience, Cerner/EPIC experience, and be adaptable to a fluid environment. Travel-heavy with on-call requirements and a 5x8 schedule.

Qualifications

• ARDMS and RVT certification required; CCI RVS preferred
• Minimum 5 years of vascular ultrasound experience required
• Minimum 5 years of travel experience required; 10+ years preferred
• Community hospital experience required; teaching hospital experience preferred
• Cerner charting experience required; EPIC experience preferred
• Experience with arterial/venous studies and duplex required

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular ultrasound studies across adult, ER, ICU, and portable settings
• Assist with OR carotid endarterectomy procedures
• Float within the hospital as needed to cover shifts
• Adhere to isolation precautions and PPE use
• Travelers must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
