Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• CCI certification required.
• RDCS certification required.
• AHA and Red Cross certifications accepted; RQI AHA cards not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Work in a critical access hospital setting with 25 staffed beds.
• 5x8 day shift schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
• No floating within scope required for facility staff positions.
• Uses Cerner EMR system.
• First-time travelers are accepted.
• Local candidates accepted with no radius restriction.
• Grey scrub color required.
• Parking permit required at no cost, arranged during orientation.
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays.
• Floating is required for all travelers within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital.
• Travel pairs are not accepted.
• Housing may be difficult to find in the area.
• Former PERM or PRN employees of the hospital system must wait 12 months before applying as a traveler.
• Schedule and time off requests should be discussed directly with the manager.
