Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist/Cardiac Sonographer with 3+ years of experience and prior travel assignment experience for a 13-week hospital contract.

The role supports care for both inpatient and outpatient populations with day shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, requiring two weekend days per month and no holiday coverage. DSE/ESE and Cerner charting are preferred skills in a 24/7 facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Echo/Cardiac Sonography.
• Prior travel assignment experience preferred.
• Active, unrestricted license required if applicable.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Experience in fast-paced healthcare environments with patient contact.

Responsibilities

• Care for inpatient and outpatient populations.
• Work day shift 7:30 AM–4:30 PM, 5x8 hours.
• Two weekend days required per month.
• No holiday coverage.
• May perform DSE/ESE (Dobutamine/Exercise Stress Echocardiograms) if needed.
• Cerner charting experience preferred.
• Work in a 24/7 facility open 365 days a year.
• Must be able to work assigned shifts, weekends, and take calls as needed.
• Occasional inclement weather work may be required.
• Candidates within 50 miles of the facility are ineligible.

• Prior travel assignment experience required
• Active, unrestricted license required (no pending licenses); license required if applicable
• Must be able to ambulate, reach, and move objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment with routine patient contact

Responsibilities

• Care for both inpatient and outpatient populations
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
• Two weekend days required per month
• No holiday coverage required
• Preferred ability to perform DSE/ESE (Dobutamine/Exercise Stress Echocardiograms)
• Cerner charting experience preferred
• Work in a 24/7 healthcare facility that operates 365 days a year
• Must be able to work assigned shifts, weekends, and take call as needed
• Ability to work during inclement weather may be required
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
