Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Echo Technologist for a contract in Santa Fe, New Mexico. You will perform 2D echoes, M-mode and Doppler studies in the Non‑Invasive Cardiology Lab, under supervising physicians, with 40 hours per week and day shifts.

Requirements include completion of accredited cardiac technology and cardiac ultrasound training, and ability to interpret studies. This travel role offers weekly pay, housing options, and comprehensive benefits through MedPro.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac technology.
• Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac ultrasound.
• Interpretation skills to facilitate a comprehensive examination and an accurate preliminary interpretation.
• Graduate of cardiac echocardiography technology program.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of supervising physicians, prepares patient for examination, performs all 2‑dimensional echoes, M‑mode and Doppler studies.
• Prepare preliminary interpretation of those studies.
• Prepare and maintain records for echo studies.
• Assist supervising physicians with training of residents and other physicians.
• Knowledge of multiple echocardiography platforms and technology.
