Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Echo Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Hancock, Michigan. The ideal candidate has 1 year of experience, BLS, and ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RS certification with state licensing as required.

Responsibilities include operating the cardiac ultrasound, preparing patients, and ensuring accurate images for physician interpretation. Travel, with 40 hours per week, days shift, and 8-hour blocks, is offered with a tax-free stipend and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of experience in echocardiography.
• Must have BLS, ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RS National Certification.
• State-specific licensing when required.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families about procedures.
• Demonstrate competence in echocardiographic studies.
• Acquire quality Doppler and color Doppler exams.
• Obtain Stress Echo and Dobutamine images per physician standards.
• Perform transesophageal echocardiograms as required.
• Report findings to reading physician for interpretation.
• Maintain patient records and equipment as per policy.
• Understand and use the PACS system.
