Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Echo Technologist for an assignment in Texas City, TX. The Echo Tech will perform echocardiography studies, prepare patients, and ensure high-quality imaging for physician interpretation. The role requires 1 year of experience, BLS, and certified specialty credentials.

The position offers 40 hours per week, days shift, and a 13-week travel assignment with a tax-free stipend and travel benefits through TotalMed Allied.

Qualifications

• Requires 1 year of Echo Tech experience.
• BLS, ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RS certifications; state licensing where required.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, with knowledge of cardiac anatomy and terminology.

Responsibilities

• Operate echocardiography equipment and ensure accurate images for physician interpretation.
• Prepare patients for echocardiograms and explain procedures to patients or families.
• Perform quality Doppler, color Doppler, stress echo and transesophageal studies per standards.
• Maintain equipment and clean/disinfect according to procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and use PACS for image management.
