Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a travel Echo Technologist for an Orlando assignment. The role is 13 weeks long, with 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts, starting 01/04/2027. The Echo Tech will educate patients, perform echocardiographic studies, and ensure image quality across Doppler and stress imaging.

Requirements include 1 year of experience, BLS, ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RS certification, and any required state licensing. TotalMed offers weekly pay, benefits, and a full support package for travel staff.

Qualifications

• 1 year of echocardiography experience required.
• Certification in BLS and ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RS.
• Must have state licensing where required.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families regarding procedures.
• Perform and interpret echocardiographic studies.
• Acquire quality Doppler and color Doppler exams.
• Perform stress echo and Dobutamine imaging per standards.
• Conduct transesophageal echocardiograms as required.
• Understand cardiac disease processes and images.
• Report findings to reading physician for interpretation.
• Maintain equipment and records; use PACS.
