Job summary

TotalMed Allied in Springfield, IL is seeking a travel Echo Technologist for a 19-week assignment, working 40 hours per week. Start date 11/23/2026. Travel position with dayshift.

Requirements include 1 year of echo experience, BLS, ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RS certification, and state licensure as required. You will perform echocardiographic studies, educate patients, and maintain equipment and records per department standards.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of echocardiography experience.
• BLS, ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RS Certification and state-specific licensing as required.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods and handle anatomy/physiology knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families regarding procedures.
• Perform echocardiographic studies with Doppler and color Doppler.
• Acquire stress echo and Dobutamine images per physician standards.
• Perform transesophageal echocardiograms as needed.
• Report findings to reading physician for interpretation.
• Maintain equipment and PACS system use (McKesson).
• Maintain accurate patient records.
