Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a Full-Time Evening Traveling Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Logan Correctional Center in Lincoln, Illinois. The LPN will provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under supervision, responding to physical and behavioral health needs while traveling.

Must hold an active Illinois LPN license, be located 90 miles or more from the facility, and have 1 year of LPN experience in relevant settings.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois LPN license.
• Minimum 1 year of LPN experience in outpatient clinic, hospital, or long-term care preferred.
• Corrections experience preferred; travel nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care within scope of practice to incarcerated patients under supervision of RN and medical/psychiatric staff.
• Respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

We are currently seeking a Full-time Evening Traveling Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Logan Correctional Center located in Lincoln, Illinois. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN with an active license to practice in Illinois
• Must live 90 miles or more from correctional facility.
• Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility preferred
• Corrections experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferredMust be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLSAbility to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
