Job summary

Carvana in Texas is hiring a Driver Trainer (and Coach) to lead onboarding for Vehicle Transporters and ensure adherence to Carvana policies and safety standards. You will train new hires to operate car trailers and logistics equipment, with emphasis on loading vehicles onto a 9-car hauler and minimizing damage.

The role requires classroom and hands-on training, strong communication across all levels, and the ability to mentor new hires using various teaching techniques.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license with clean driving record.
• Experience delivering safety training and coaching.
• Proficient in classroom style teaching.
• Willing to obtain Smith System certification.
• 21+ years old and able to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide world-class onboarding for Vehicle Transporters.
• Lead 2-week training on trailers and logistics equipment.
• Instruct on safe loading of vehicles onto a 9-car hauler.
• Deliver both classroom and hands-on training.
• Mentor new hires and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with Logistics Managers to ensure smooth transitions.
• Travel up to 50% as required.
