Carvana is seeking a Driver Trainer (and Coach) to manage onboarding for Vehicle Transporters, ensuring policy compliance, safety, and efficient vehicle loading. The role focuses on hands-on training and ongoing education to build a skilled driver team.

You will run a two-week training program, assess progress, and collaborate with Logistics Managers to ensure a smooth transition from training to on‑the‑job performance, with up to 50% travel required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent desirable.
• CDL Class A and a clean driving record.
• Smith System training and/or certification preferred or willing to be certified.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsabilités

• Provide a world class onboarding experience to newest Vehicle Transporters at Carvana.
• Serve as the primary trainer, getting new hires up to speed over a 2-week training period on how to maneuver, maintain, and operate car trailers and other logistics equipment.
• Teach new hires how to safely load vehicles onto a 9 car hauler, keeping customer vehicles free of damage.
• Coach, mentor, and provide feedback to new hires.
• Collaborate with multiple Logistics Managers to ensure a smooth transition from training to on-the-job.
• Travel is required 50% of the time, however business needs could dictate more travel.
